Elfego Gomez III has been a senior trainer with the Next Level Performance Group since 2001. He specializes in the design and facilitation of leadership and team development, cultural change and executive coaching programs. He uses a broad range of approaches when serving his clients including work style assessments, business simulations and outdoor challenge courses. His consultative services include: innovation; coaching through organizational change and transition; developing the next generation of leaders, shifting unproductive conflict to a balance of conflict and collaboration, and unearthing best practices that lead to high performing teams.
With over twenty years of diverse experiences, Elfego has contributed to the development of executive teams in Fortune 100 companies, public education, the U.S. Federal Government, non-profit and family owned businesses. Additionally, he is a certified practitioner in an array of assessment tools including the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator, Campbell Leadership Descriptor, Situation Leadership, Social Styles, Benchmark 360° and The Leadership Effectiveness Analysis, among others.
A sampling of his recent clients include Microsoft, The Kaiser Foundation, Kessler Financial Services, U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, Schwarz Biosciences, U.S. Olympic Committee, Bank of America, Philip Morris, Novo Nordisk Pharmaceuticals, and U.S. Office of Personnel Management. He also provides his services pro bono to local and national non-profits and is currently involved with a leadership development program for the senior executive team at Plan USA.
In addition to supporting Next Level clients, Elfego is an adjunct faculty member at the Center for Creative Leadership, Colorado Springs campus. During his tenure with the Center for Creative Leadership, he has worked with CCL’s Leadership at the Peak Program (LAP); Leadership Development for Human Resources Professionals (LDHRP); Leadership Development Program (LDP); as well as several customized programs.
Elfego has degrees from the University of Notre Dame and the University of Arizona with post-graduate study at Teacher’s College, Columbia University and the Fletcher School of International Law and Diplomacy, Tufts University.
A native of the southwestern United States, Elfego is an adventurer at heart. You will find him mountain biking, rock climbing, trekking and snow skiing. If you get the opportunity, ask him about his adventure travels to South America.
